I don't know what I'm going to without this little gem when I have to leave Milan! Their caffe (I always order normale) is wonderful. Their pastries are fresh and smell so delicious when you enter. It is a small shop, and everyone is extremely friendly. It is a perfect way to start your day here in Milano!

This small shop near the start of Corso Buenos Aires offers some very delicious pastries! I settled on the classic almond biscotti and it was just perfect. I even saved one for my wife so she could try it also! Yes! That's one point for me!
They were even willing to give me an espresso for "take away" when I asked for a biscotti to go. I was literally stunned! In past years, asking for coffee to go was a major social faux pas equivalent to directly insulting the proprietor and the restaurant. In other words, "If you don't want to drink our coffee here, get the heck out!"
Apparently, Italy or at least Milano is changing! Well, this is a sample of one so I suspect your mileage will vary! Try ordering take away coffee at your own risk!
